On Thursday, 14 September 2023,Viennabase celebrated its 60th anniversary at a ceremony with around 100 guests and a party for the residents inspired by the legendary Festival of Lights.
Guided tours, music and anniversary raffle
Following the ceremony, guests were given a guided tour of the beehives on the roof of Viennabase19 and the art facades on and in the building. Young music acts from the acoustic club of WIENXTRA-Soundbase, a Viennese music platform for up-and-coming musicians, as well as a singer-songwriter and a DJ from the Viennabase team provided the musical programme. A photo booth station and an anniversary raffle with 20 main prizes and many non-cash prizes - provided by numerous Viennese institutions - provided additional entertainment and excitement.
