Home life in the former Haus D\u00f6bling was characterised by discussions about home prices, home rules and co-determination rights. The long-cherished wish for new common rooms was fulfilled. In 1986, the club room opened its doors, which quickly became the best-known communication centre within the home. There were also numerous cultural highlights: In June 1986, cabaret artist Josef Hader, H.C. Artmann and the Bluespumpn performed as part of the culture week organised by the residents. In 1987 and 1988, well-known names like Ostbahnkurti, Boris Bukowski and Konstantin Wecker followed. The festivals of lights was also a popular event, which was known and loved beyond the borders of the student dormitory and district.
